We are thrilled to announce that signups are NOW OPEN for our upcoming February Half Term Engage Programme!
Young people are invited to join us for a variety of fun activities, including table tennis, a pool table, a stage for performances, laptops, arts and crafts, quiet reading areas, a photography studio, air hockey, board games, a PlayStation 5, and much more.
Our work
Lives Not Knives is an innovative, award winning, youth-led charity that works to prevent knife crime, serious youth violence and school exclusions by engaging, educating and empowering disadvantaged young people and supporting them to enjoy their lives and improve their future prospects. We offer a unique strategy that centres around personal one-to-one mentoring with 9-14 year olds, educational school roadshows, a fun after school club and a free summer programme of activities so that all the young people we work with can overcome adversity and transform their lives.

Street Fundraisers? Not us!
Over the last year and a half, we’ve been contacted by several members of the public who have been “aggressively approached” and felt “harassed” by street fundraisers. They have mistaken our charity with another and have sent a number of complaints. We by all means do not want to discredit the work of other charities, and encourage donors to find out more about the charity they're donating to in order to avoid confusion. LNK work in schools and from the LNK Unit (based in Croydon), and do not have a street team or pay anyone to fundraise for us.
